Below Average Media
Sep 12, 2026
Below Average Media (BAM for short) is a media brand I created be the home for the videography side of my projects. BAM spans across YouTube, Instagram, and Twitch with a dedicated aggregator website for a one stop shop for content and information. The name comes from the fact that I’m in no way good at any of this. Videos aren’t perfectly polished. I do the best I can with the tools and knowledge I have.
Like the about section of the BAM website says:
“At Below Average Media, we’re here to flip the script on what content “should” be. In a world obsessed with polished perfection and corporate-approved narratives, we stand apart. We believe the most captivating content comes from authenticity, genuine passion, and a willingness to explore, experiment, and sometimes, yes, even script a little fun. We’re dedicated to bringing you real, engaging stories and experiences, free from the typical corporate gloss.
Whether we’re diving deep into the latest gaming releases, exploring cutting-edge tech, or bringing you random skits that just make you laugh, our focus is always on connection over corporate. We champion content that feels real, even when it’s carefully crafted. It’s about embracing the quirks, the unexpected twists, and the unfiltered moments that truly resonate with you, our audience.
Below Average Media isn’t just a name; it’s a philosophy. It’s an invitation to step away from the relentless pursuit of an unattainable ideal and instead, celebrate the power of being genuinely, wonderfully, and sometimes even hilariously, below average. Join us as we redefine what it means to create truly engaging and impactful content across all our passions.”
Now lets get into the technical details of the website. I co-agentically built the website using basic HTML, CSS, PHP, and JS. I used iframes from the platforms I could to create a breakdown of what content is available for people to enjoy and Google workspace to manage the email side of things.
This really just was a passion project to aid in the creativity process. Most of my current content currently is about 3D printing or gaming. Hopefully you’ll stop by and watch the content. it been a minute but I have some more ideas for content and some projects that haven’t been finished up yet that I want to finish and post.
